The Team:

The program manager oversees Platts Global Market Engagement & Development Program, which covers staff-led, client-focused activities across the Content Group and in collaboration with Platts commercial team. This position reports to the Global Director, Market Engagement.

The Impact:

This role underpins one of Platts key strategic initiatives and therefore has responsibility for directing and overseeing activities globally across all commodity groups, ensuring collaboration across departments and commodities to ensure Platts engagement with industry participants achieves high standards and meets the growing need for providing insight and education to a broad and diverse set of market participants around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Drives development and execution of global engagement goals and strategy across all commodity groups

  • Leads initiatives to evolve and enhance Platts Market Engagement & Development Program as indicated by senior leadership and provides feedback to Platts engagement team to optimize Platts representation in the market

  • Manages engagement requests from our commercial team, organizes engagement specific coordination sessions, and develops program collateral in conjunction with teams such as marketing and branding

  • Develops and drives Market Engagement analysis and integrates outcomes into business decisions

  • Serves as business owner of applications and systems which support program activity

What We re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree required; with graduate-level degree desirable

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), as well as the ability to interact and influence professionals at all levels of the organization

  • Strong organization, prioritization and decision-making skills

  • Strong problem-solving ability

  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently across many parts of the organization

  • Ability to create insight out of data and information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multilingual capabilities

  • Platts editorial market reporting experience or Platts client-facing experience

  • Ability to take issues, such as market engagement from adoption, and create plans for improvement

  • Executive-level scheduling and project management experience
