As a SDM our goal is to be clear and concise and partner with the leadership team to ensure their priorities are met. As a team member, you are responsible for performing functions such as bridging incidents, performing review of operations, and translating technical needs from leaders and communicating it to IT teams.
The SDM is critical to crafting and establishing the relationship across business units. Without the SDM role, corporate technology cannot effectively perform as a partner enabling the business to succeed.
Do you love communicating with leaders and IT teams and providing solutions for engaging problems? Do you have the aim to make a difference? You will be a vital part of building partnerships with executives in the C suite to achieve their needs and ideas for the Information Technology teams. As an SDM you also remain plugged into the company s strategic IT priorities and will be challenged with a dynamic environment that continuously evolves.
The following are what we expect this role to accomplish:
Provide regular Operations Reviews
Participates in Major Incident bridges
Issues leadership communications with details of major incidents
Monitors the IT 3rd party provider to provide continuous mentoring
Collects intel regarding Technology needs from the business leadership
What We re Looking For:
An IT professional with effective communication who can understand a complex IT environment and translate information to executives in a form they can easily digest.
Minimum Bachelors degree
10 years experience around IT infrastructure
3 years working closely with Executive Team members
Strong business communication skills
Experience performing incident management highly desirable
Vendor management exposure is a plus
